Easley Doodlebugs Name Nolan Prince Head Coach

EASLEY, SC – The Easley Doodlebugs are excited to announce the hiring of Nolan Prince as the team's new head coach for the upcoming season.

Prince brings a well-rounded baseball background to Easley, with experience as a player and coach at both the four-year and junior college levels. He began his collegiate playing career with two seasons at Lander University before returning home to Erskine College, where he spent three years as a student assistant while earning his degree in Sports Management.

After Erskine, Prince joined the coaching staff at Andrew College, a junior college program in Cuthbert, Georgia. Last summer, he served as an assistant coach for the Mauldin Mayos, gaining valuable summer collegiate experience that he now brings to the Doodlebugs dugout.

Prince has since returned to Lander University, where he serves as a Graduate Assistant for the baseball program while pursuing his Master of Business Administration.

"After coaching against Easley last summer, I cannot wait to embrace being the home team with the fan support that I saw. I'm hoping to bring another Palmetto State League championship back to Easley," Prince said.

The Doodlebugs look forward to welcoming Prince to the Easley community as the team prepares for an exciting season ahead.
